And yes, she sure is scowling in the picture. She's got spunk. That's all I'll say...Here she is on our patio. She found a rolly polly bug and she's holding him in this picture. Awww...she's being so nice. Oh wait, nevermind, she just threw him down the steps. Hope he's ok.
I decided to make a cake today and decorate it in honor of memorial day. Yep, looks pretty bad. Probably would have looked better if Kate had been napping at that time. Seriously, I used strawberries from a container instead of cutting them up myself. I'll do it better next time. But hey, it's the thought that counts right??

You are so festive! The cake looks super tasty! Now days Amelia is at my side when I make EVERYTHING! Thankfully she is does better than the last time with each new thing we make.

You know, I understand why you took off Kate's clothes to paint, but if I remember painting Dave's ceiling in high school, didn't the paint brush fall on your head? Maybe you should have taken your clothes off, too. Just a thought. But I do love the cake... you'll have to start making flag cakes for the state birthdays now!
Yep...Kate definitely reminds me of you. And way to be with the cake, only next time make it a Texas flag.
